A number of clients have MCS (multiple chemical sensitivity), and I have a milder version (migraines from exposure). Fragrances are designed to stick, and so are difficult to remove from the air and especially the sheets. By not using fragrances leading up to your appointment, you are helping to keep the office a healthy space for all. This includes essential oils and any scented deodorant, hair product, laundry detergent, lotion, etc. I reserve the right to turn away clients who show up with fragrance (session fee will still apply). Thank you!

Nope! There’s a waiting area right outside the office if you do. I’ll open the office door at your appointment time. We’ll have a brief check-in, then the session, plus a few minutes afterward to discuss self-care options.

Your comfort is most important. For sessions, you remain fully clothed, so wear clothes that you’ll be warm + comfortable in. Layers can be helpful to accommodate temperature changes.

My treatment table safely supports 750 lbs. Sitting in a chair or lying on a blanket on the floor are other possiblities!

A lot of people do. Somatoemotional processing is often part of CST sessions, for a few moments or a long while. We can take breaks if needed. I will be holding space for whatever comes up.

Bodywork remains an unlicensed profession in Vermont, so billing insurance is not possible. Many people submit for reimbursement from an HSA/HRA. A referral may be required—check with your account provider.

Positioning (side-lying, sitting...) and sensory (lights...) adjustments can be made. I can offer assistance on/off the table. Information (intake, follow-up...) can be presented in various formats. You're welcome to have a support person present for your sesssion. A sliding scale is available upon request. Please reach out with questions or requests that may make your experience more comfortable.

I check in during our first session about allergies, but please update as needed. I run a HEPA air filter daily and clean + vacuum the office regularly. I use cotton sheets laundered with unscented, plant-derived detergent.
